Dawning Before Dawn

It just occurred to me that both my oldest niece, Jill and my oldest nephew, Ben are - as I type these very words - embarking upon incredible journeys.

Jill is a few weeks into a major life-altering move away from home, an engagement, and is planning an impending marriage at the end of next month.
Ben is in Japan, starting a three month stint in Kawasaki City, learning a new culture, a new life.

Wow.
